“Unbelievably Great,” Says Vast Majority

News

With survey results still coming in, it’s safe to project Exceptionally Positive Response to Aquaponically Grown and Home-Delivered Basil will win the day in a landslide! With an average rating on the flavor and packaging scales of 9.5, people clearly enjoyed the basil we grew in greenhouse at the Santa Fe Community College recently.

Lettuce Etc hopes to deliver more of the same after the Aquaponics Association conference in Albuquerque September 15 - 17, and this means we could be sowing seed as early as next Wednesday. Stay tuned to sign up for round two!

Please note! Having followed up with the respondent who chose “#2” (above), we learned that the person said they must have misunderstood the scale, and “that should be changed to an eight.” Fortunately, we don’t see an easy way to mess with the data, but if you do the math you get a score of

9.67 on the packaging approval scale!

This high packaging approval score surprised me because I thought people would feel as if we were giving them a chore—not just something to eat. Happily, people did not see it that way—at least not yet. It may be less popular after they have finally gotten rid of the mini root-ball that they all came with. Sounds like a good survey question for the second of two surveys that will be sent to anyone who got the free basil. We love and need your feedback, so please lay it on us whenever you get a survey from us. Thanks!
