Having spent much of the spring semester delivering lettuce to neighbors in need (through Communities In Schools, Santa Fe Mutual Aid, Earth Care NM, and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Santa Fe), now is our chance to begin to hone our new approach to local-produce distribution! Please, be part of the solution to what economists call the "last-mile delivery-problem."
Deliveries will occur during two three-day windows:
May 16 - 18 and May 28 - 30.

PLEASE NOTE
You will be signing up for a geographical waiting list--not a first-come, first-served style waiting list. This means that the closer you are to someone who has already pre-ordered for a seasonal or annual subscription, the higher your chances of getting one or two free lettuce deliveries will be.

Pre-orders can be cancelled at any time. Happily, none of the 40 pre-ordering households so far have cancelled. As a thank you gift to them, I'm motivated to do this, but the key will always be reducing delivery distance and time, so if you share this with your neighbors, you will increase your chances of getting a delivery!
